Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Information Center dedicated
It was a joyful and momentous occasion on April 23rd at the Otis Library when the doors of the beautifully renovated facility swung wide for a grand opening ceremony and dedication of the new Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Information Center.
City and state officials, Tribal members and councilors, library board of trustees and staff, members of the press and community gathered for speeches and a ribbon cutting event in the beautiful, sun-filled atrium of this brand new state-of-the-art addition to the city of Norwich.

Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Council Secretary Charlene Jones was among the local celebrities that participated in the 2007 Fine Living Celebrity Ballroom Event on March 30 at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa.
More than 300 people attended the black-tie event, joining WFSB Channel 3 personalities, Irene O'Connor and Mark Dixon, who emceed the sold-out dance competition.
President of R & L Productions, Robyn Wolman, collaborated with Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Niantic to create the ‘Dancing with the Stars' style competition. Local celebrities were partnered with a professional instructor to perfect the swing and the waltz. "The Fine Living events were created by our company as special opportunities to share community, camaraderie and social activities," said Robyn Wolman. "It's our goal to bring our community together for the benefit of everyone who lives here."
